Rehabilitation
Our team of expert personel will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. John Paul II Nursing Home is proud of its expert team comprising a family medicine doctor, physical therapists, nurses, a social worker and other professional staff. During the process of rehabilitation, our staff uses state-of-the-art medical equipment and cutting-edge knowledge. Medical rehabilitation for residents with neurological, orthopaedic and rheumatic diseases is based on motion therapy, ultrasound therapy, electrotherapy, lymphatic drainage and medical massage. Essential and vegetable oils are used for medical purposes by inhalation and massage.
Nutrition
We offer meals that are adjusted to your medical condition, respecting tradition and your wishes. Our daily menu is enriched with fruit and vegetables from organic farms located in Ravni kotari. Herbs are hand-picked from our own field, while the extra-virgin olive oil that forms an essential part of our menu is made at our own olive grove. Our residents can enjoy their meals in a spacious restaurant with a view of centuries-old olive trees. The wine that we serve with our meals comes from the organic vineyards of the Nadin region.
Medical care
Our aproach to health care is based on the principles of increased health care, health rehabilitation, and active use of the remaining abilities of our residents. The resident's family doctor visits the institution whereas the specialists' examinations are separately arranged. We have arranged medical transportation to specialist examinations in hospitals and back. Physical therapy is equipped with TENS and equipment for electrotherapy, ultrasound and lymphatic drainage. Kinesiotherapy combines medical gymnastics and osteoporosis exercises. For the preservation of health, prevention and treatment of illness under expert supervision we use herbs, various herbal preparations and essential oils.
